Privacy

• Signed out, your saved jobs, applications, tasks, hidden jobs, contacts, saved searches, and documents are stored only in this browser's local storage and IndexedDB — nothing is sent to a server.
• If you create an account, your applications, tasks, hidden jobs, contacts, and career profile also sync to this project's Supabase backend (a hosted database) so they follow your account across browsers and devices. Saved searches and documents (resume/cover letter files) are never synced — they stay in this browser's storage only, signed in or not.
• Your sign-in email and basic usage activity (which tabs you've used, how many sessions, when you were last active) are also stored in Supabase once you create an account. The site administrator can see your career profile and this usage activity, but not your synced applications, tasks, hidden jobs, or contacts — those are readable only by your own account. The administrator cannot see anything that hasn't been synced (e.g. documents, saved searches, or any data from a signed-out visitor).
• Signing out clears this device's local copy of your synced applications, tasks, hidden jobs, contacts, and profile (so a different account signing in next, e.g. on a shared computer, never sees your data) — your account's copy in Supabase is untouched and comes back the next time you sign in.
• No cookies, ads, or third-party analytics/tracking scripts run in your browser. Two outside services receive personal data you provide directly: Supabase, which handles sign-in and stores the synced data described above; and, if you use the Mentoring contact form, Resend, which delivers that message to the site administrator's email — your name/email and message text pass through Resend for that single purpose only. Separately, this project's own scrapers use Google's Gemini API offline to tag job postings by relevance/category — that only ever sends public job-posting text (titles, summaries), never anything about you.
• Deleting your data: use Account → Delete my data to permanently remove your saved applications, tasks, hidden jobs, contacts, saved searches, and career profile — both on this device and, if signed in, in your account. This does not delete your sign-in account or your resume/cover letter documents; email econlaunch@gmail.com to request full account deletion, and clear your browser's site data to remove documents.
• Clearing your browser's site data deletes anything not synced (documents, saved searches, and all data for signed-out use) permanently. Export a CSV backup from the All Applications view periodically.
• Job listing data itself is fetched from static files generated by this project's own scrapers, not from a live backend.
• External links (to job postings, employer career pages, etc.) open third-party sites this project doesn't control.
